Find the meals that actually keep you full
Two meals with identical calories can leave you completely different amounts of hungry. NutrientOS estimates how filling a food is likely to be, so you can spend the same calorie budget on food that actually holds.
What it does
Each food gets a satiety estimate on a five-level scale from Very Low to Very High. It is derived from the food's own nutrition — protein and fibre relative to calories, energy density, sugar, whether it is a drink, and how processed it appears to be.
Because it is computed from the food's values, it updates as you edit. Change a serving size or correct a scan result and the estimate recalculates with it.

- People whose calories are fine but whose evenings are not where a low-satiety lunch reliably becomes an unplanned 9pm snack.

Known limitations
Satiety is a population-level generalisation applied to an individual, which is exactly where generalisations are weakest.
- It is an estimate, not a measurement. It is calculated from nutrition data, not from any measurement of your response to the food.
- Individual variation is large. Appetite responds to sleep, stress, training, medication, hormonal cycles, illness, and habit. None of those are inputs.
- Meal context is not modelled. What you ate it with, when, and how quickly all change the outcome, and a per-food score cannot see any of that.
- Learned preference beats nutrition. Familiar and enjoyable foods often satisfy better than their numbers predict.
Satiety estimates are informational and are not medical or dietary advice. They are not appropriate for managing a clinical eating disorder or any condition affecting appetite regulation.
How missing data is handled
Missing fibre or protein values reduce the evidence available, so the estimate stays conservative rather than assuming a zero. A record thin enough that a meaningful estimate cannot be made does not get a confident one.
